In Mrs. Graham’s 1st and 2nd grade class, students learned about Jamestown and how people to the New World built cities and established laws to govern those cities. After receiving strict parameters for the project, the class used legos to build a variety of buildings. Then they had to set at least three laws for their city. But they weren’t done yet. After all the building and discussion with their peers, each group gave a report with the most important aspect being the laws and why they needed those laws. Great job, LRA. This is learning in action!
