All Middle School students take Keyboarding to improve their typing speed, accuracy, and focus. Using and learning proper keyboarding will give them an advantage not only during their middle school years but also as they progress through high school and college. Study Skills taught at a young age provides students the advantage of learning techniques to help them in later years.

  • Praise Team

Students gifted and talented in Music, both vocally and instrumentally, may try-out and participate in the Praise Team. Each week during all-school Chapel the Praise Team leads the student body in worship.

  • Art

Students learn a wide variety of art techniques and media. Many art pieces are displayed on school hallway walls and on the LRA Art website. Several pieces are also entered in art competitions.

  • 4-H

We recognize and welcome the ability the 4-H program has to empower young people to lead for a lifetime. 4-H has programs in science, healthy living and citizenship backed by a network of 100 public universities and a robust community of 4‑H volunteers and professionals. Through hands-on learning, kids build not only confidence, creativity and curiosity, but also life skills such as leadership and resiliency to help them thrive today and tomorrow. 4‑H programs are grounded in the belief that kids learn best by doing.
