Living Rock Academy High School focuses on preparing students for success for either college or technical school. From the use of technology to the rigor of engaging academic classes, LRA students are equipped and prepared with the knowledge and learning skills that will allow them to be successful. Not only do we boast a high academic standard taking part in academic competitions, but we also encourage our students to engage in our quality athletic and visual/performing arts programs.
Living Rock Academy’s high school has a Monday through Thursday modified block schedule. Friday is a day for Cross-Curricular activities, Community Outreach and Academic Enrichment.
Graduation Requirements
• 2 credits of Foreign Language (3 years for Distinguished Level diploma; 2 years for Recommended Level diploma)
• 1 credit Physical Education
• 1 credit of Fine Arts
• ½ credit of Speech
• 4 ½ credits of Electives (for Distinguished diploma; 5 1/2 for Recommended diploma)
Extracurricular academic activities are encouraged among the students. These activities are a means of promoting intellectual progress.
