Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16
One of the most exciting things that happens each week at Living Rock Academy is Chapel. Chapel is a powerful opportunity for our students to learn more about the Lord, to grow in knowledge of His character, to deepen their relationships with the Father, and to support each other through prayer as well as to share in worship. It is our goal to provide a variety of spiritual experiences for the student body at Living Rock so that students will develop life-long spiritual disciplines that lead to a successful Christian life.
During Chapel, the entire student body, faculty, and staff come together to worship and hear teaching from the Word of God. Our high school praise team leads the time of worship to create an opportunity for discipleship among the student body. As the praise team leads songs of encouragement, the students participate with each other and their Bobcat buddies by performing hand motions or dancing. We then move into a time of worship that allows students to focus on the Lord and lift up songs of praise to His great name.
After worship, the elementary and secondary schools separate into two groups for the teaching time. We are blessed to have local leaders, parents, pastors, worship leaders, and youth pastors participate in our weekly chapels. We invite parents and friends of LRA to attend Chapel at any time.
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3
